Last bf was three years younger, so maybe they've got a point! Never know how old is TOO old though. There's that theory that youngest you can date is half your age plus seven, and oldest is double your age minus seven! Ummm not sure I agree with that...The London Loveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01422655426249602485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5020450765734740997.post-55467746871577391352009-09-23T23:42:27.498+10:002009-09-23T23:42:27.498+10:00Eeeek no! My first boyfriend, when I was 15, was four years my junior and when we broke up, there was no way I was looking for a gentleman my age.

I've been with a man 18 years my senior for three years now. I like the security, his life experiences and the fact he inspires me in my career. I'm really lucky (in a sense) becaue my man has two teenage children so I never have to worry about mentioning a band he doesn't know of or talking about Hollyoaks. And it's great to laugh about the difference- TV shows and musicians I have no clue of and we joke how I'm nearly the same age as his children etc. You can't feel awkward about it or else it would never work.

Keep up the good work!

xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5020450765734740997.post-69929546623858390952009-09-22T20:18:13.687+10:002009-09-22T20:18:13.687+10:00Know what you mean about older men - so much more ...Know what you mean about older men - so much more mature.
I went out with a 38 year old fella when I was 22 and he was lovely.
I don't think I could date a toy boy for the exact reasons you've mentioned here.
Good post Sarah, very entertaining xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00948164563308994202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5020450765734740997.post-61151734571652988712009-09-22T19:54:52.307+10:002009-09-22T19:54:52.307+10:00I too prefer an older man. I have dated a couple of guys two or three years younger than me and oddly enough, they were the ones who wanted the serious commitment, which I found completely ass backwards and it sent me running a mile. So, I try to stick with the older fellas, but recently have been finding more and more of them have a Peter Pan complex and just don't seem to be able to grow the hell up. And so, my dating life remains a sad, sorry mess *le sigh*Bangs and a Bunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08109797367211112534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5020450765734740997.post-72419103235378449632009-09-22T03:52:21.441+10:002009-09-22T03:52:21.441+10:00haha i have always loved older men!
